In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the negotiable Instrument Act 1881 read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.U-11030/2/73-UTL dated 28.06.1973, the Lt.Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to declare the holidays specified below, to be the public holidays in the year 2015.

All Government offices under the Government of Delhi are closed on following holidays list.

The state Government has also announced optional holidays during the year 2015. Every Government employee can avail a maximum of two of these optional holidays as per his/her choice.
